This picture was pretty funny from my trip. This was me really wanting to buy one of these carmel apples...but I resisted, and I felt good with that choice.
I must admit I am itching for spring to come. We have gotten a dridiculous number of inches of snow this year.
I am yearing to walk outdoors. I want to jump on the trampoline with the kids without snow pants on. I want to bike on the street.
Biking, for me, is very peaceful. It does for me, mentally, what yoga does for others. It burns about 470 calories in 60 minutes ( obviously that number is varied on hill vs. flat). It gives me very similar endorphin buzz that I get sfrom SPinning. I feel the same about biking. I find it stresses my joints less than running and that impacts me alot at my age ( 44 ). But, most of all, I love it!
So, bring on spring! Lets get out, and get going!!!!
